As it happened, my schedule today had me out and moving around town a bit during the mid-morning so I got to eyeball a number of polling locations along the way. In some of the larger precincts there were noticeable lines like this one fire station on Jeff Davis and Baudin.
When I voted this morning, the wait was about 15 or 20 minutes. But many of the precincts I passed today looked relatively quiet. If I had to guess, I'd say the turnout is either low or average for an election with a President on the ballot. The line-ups and waits (where there were any) were pretty moderate and probably had more to do with the long list of amendments and propositions on the ballot than anything else.
