The devastating effect reduced Algiers Ferry hours are having on these businesses is certainly worth talking about. But for whatever reason we seem to think it makes a more compelling argument than simply saying affordable and efficient public transit is good for the people who use it. Not sure why that is.
Today at 5 there will be a public hearing on RTA's ridiculous proposal to hike fares up to a point that makes daily use a serious hardship for most commuters. The Lens will "live-blog" the meeting here.
