The boil order decade

Seems we are still living in it.  One thing that's happened in the last year or so is we've started getting these precisely defined boil orders that affect very specific areas rather than just the east or west bank or "areas east of the Industrial Canal" or whatever.

The boil water advisory extends from Almonaster Avenue to the Industrial Canal and includes all of the Lower 9th Ward. New Orleans East is not affected by the advisory, according to a news release from the S&WB.

It's like we're getting better at tracking and containing the wild amoeba.  But our science is some ways away from stopping it altogether.  It's kind of like the jaguar in that regard, I guess.
