Failed "Alternative"

The New Orleans plutocrat consensus already has several media outlets which present us with its point of view. The Times-Picayune editorial page, WWL radio, New Orleans Magazine, everything and everyone in local TV news... I could go on. Suffice to say that the wealthy establishment or at least those who buy into the party line of the wealthy establishment of this city have ample airtime and print space with which to celebrate themselves and their agendas in this town. One would think the supposedly "alternative" weekly would endeavor to offer some semblance of counterpoint to all of that but one would be mistaken.
