Seriously, when Taco Bell compares its ingredients to the ones found in your home or supermarket, the really disturbing thought should be – what if they’re telling the truth?
Lots of frightening... er... food for thought in that column. I suspect I'm just not cut out for vegetarianism, but I have been trying to eat a bit healthier lately. I just went all of January with practically no processed snack foods and no sweets. Dropped ten pounds. Eating meat and eating healthy shouldn't be an either/or proposition, though. But that does increasingly appear to be the case.
At one time, a person living in Louisiana could at least depend on the bountiful seafood for protein. No telling how safe that is anymore either.
