We elect a bunch of assholes who promise change, then we turn around and elect a bunch of new assholes two years later who promise to be a total change from the people who were supposed to be a change to begin with. Then THEY turn out to be morons, too. We're never gonna end up liking any of tomorrow's new batch of dipshits.
None of them will change what is fundamentally wrong with everything right now, and that is this: If you live in this country and you are not rich, YOU ARE FUCKED. Completely and utterly fucked. Even if you aren't technically fucked, you will still FEEL brutally assfucked. If you are just graduating college and you aren't rich, I strongly encourage you to marry someone who is already rich. Because otherwise, you are fuckstarted.
But by all means go vote anyway. Deep down the simpering elites who run the T-P are pissed that you still can. Also I understand you get a free cookie.
There are 10 amendments to the Louisiana constitution on your ballot tomorrow. This BGR document does a good job of demystifying them for you. although I wouldn't put too much stock in their recommendations. (I am voting Yes on 1,2,4, and 5 and No on the rest for what it's worth) and of course as always I can't wait to vote against Stacy Head.
