- I'm still digesting the idiotic puff piece on Bobby Jindal in this week's Gambit. According to Gambit, this Christian conservative pro-war, pro-Bush Republican is suddenly the voice of "Gen-X" Louisiana because he... has a Blackberry and a MySpace or something. Or maybe he just likes mountain biking... I'm still rereading the article. Suffice to say, Gambit has picked sides in the Governor's race.
- Is this what we've hired Ed Blakely to do for New Orleans? Because I can't wait to hit that 18 hole championship golf course.... you know as soon as they finish with all the bulldozing and the unnecessary moving of the entire civil court system across town without input from the persons affected.... you know.... all that important crane-type business.
- Start your engines, it's qualifying day for all your regular political weasels. Will Nagin run for Governor? How many recycled pols, cronies, and hangers on will jump in the race to replace OT on the city council? We'll know by the end of the week. Stay tuned.
- Apparently Reggie Bush is ready for his close-up. Why the hell does this douchebag have to be on our team?

Things happening
This may be a light posting area for the next few days. Keep in mind, it seems every time I say that I end up rewriting the entire internet within 48 hours. But for the moment, you may be able to take me at my word. In the meantime, here's what we're watching this week:
