Fake Game #1

I don't like to dwell too much on pre-season games because they are sooo pointless. Often, even the small conclusions you think you can draw end up being erroneous. Nevertheless, here's what I think I saw last night.

• How 'bout that new secondary? McKenzie was burned badly.. as was Jason David.



• It's going to be bad if either Will Smith or Charles Grant gets hurt. They shouldn't even be in these games.



• Same goes for Brees. Jamie Martin is a huge drop-off. Rookie Tyler Palko has a goofy looking delivery.. maybe it's just because he's left-handed.



• Not only is first-round draft choice Robert Meahem fat and fragile, it also looks like he doesn't catch the ball so well.

Most importantly.. nobody got hurt. And still four more opportunities for pointless injury remain before any real football takes place. I hate pre-season.
