Random things I'm right now at this moment fully expecting to happen.*
If the NFLPA forces Interim Appellate Arbiter Paul Tagliabue to recuse himself and give way to a fake interim arbiter, then Roger Goodell will immediately set off on a backpacking trip through Thailand.
On November 3 Zach Mettenberger will throw for negative 20 yards and
three interceptions. LSU will beat Alabama anyway. The score will be
something like 6-2. Nobody will understand it.
On November 6 Mitt will win Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia. That still doesn't put him over the top, though. I'm not ready to guess at what will happen in Ohio and Colorado. Yes, this is a cop-out.
On November 11 the Saints will be 4-4 as they await the Atlanta Falcons in the Superdome. Joe Vitt will lead the team out of the tunnel driving Joe Biden's Trans-Am.
*Expectations subject to change at any moment.

Romney takes NC and Florida but Obama takes Virginia, Ohio and Colorado for the win.
North Carolina?? I can't believe pundits still think that's a toss up this time around. None of the states Pants mentioned matter in terms of electoral results, save for Ohio. http://www.270towin.com/2012_election_predictions.php?mapid=Pxa (Map is a demonstration, not a prediction.) I think O takes Ohio with a 150k margin, so I guess my prediction would be resemble the linkede map, with a couple refinements (e.g., I think O takes NH, too.) Basically that means I think it will be closer than the current forecasts by Wang, Silver or any of the other poll analysts mentioned in this post http://votamatic.org/into-the-home-stretch/
That's a pretty plausible map. Remarkably, all Obama really needs is Ohio. And Ohio will be well within "stealing range" which is where the millions of stories like this one http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/10/15/1145006/-Voter-Intimidation-and-confusion-in-Ohio we've been seeing could come into play.
