New Scary Danger

As someone who does it fairly regularly, my personal experience doesn't indicate that texting while driving is any different from changing the radio station or eating potato chips or herding kittens or mixing a cocktail or arguing with listening carefully to a spouse or swatting at spiders or any of the numerous activities one may engage in while driving.

But it's a new, scary, technology and OMG "our children" might do it so I guess we have to make a stupid law.
