Oh just get to the freaking point, already!

Via Oyster, we find this most unnecessarily long-winded and... almost navel-gazing... endorsement of Barack Obama from The Nation which includes the improbable sentence highlighted below in red:

The question then becomes this: which of the two Democratic candidates is more likely to bring to fruition a new progressive majority? I believe, passionately and deeply, if occasionally waveringly, that it's Barack Obama.

In the interest of avoiding this sort of thing in the future, I will now passionately and UNwaveringly propose that all major publications who wish to endorse a candidate this year simply print a checked box with their choice's name next to it and spare us the time and aggravation.
