Chris Ivory goes to IR
Also, if I understand this correctly, he's been waived and so could play again this season but will now have to clear waivers before becoming a free agent. Basically, the Saints just cut their leading rusher from last season. And if the "tweaks" and "hernias" come in anything like the quantities they came last season, we'll be watching DeShawn Wynn and Heath Evans in the backfield by week 6.
Oh and it look like Joe Morgan will go to IR as well and miss the whole year. In other words, it's like we suspected. Pre-season is pointless.
Update: Oh the perils of the Tweeter Tube. Even though the Ivory on IR reports came from professional reporter persons on Twitter, other professional reporter persons are now saying that might not be correct. Ivory may actually be going on the PUP list like we thought he would. Stay tuned. Also don't lose Buford Jordan's number just in case.
