Stories are straight now

No sheen. Nobody saw any sheen.

Earlier this afternoon the Coast Guard had reported a 100-foot-wide, mile-long sheen coming from the production platform about 90 miles south of Vermilion Bay.

But Coast Guard Capt. Peter Troedsson, during a news conference in New Orleans, said no sheen can now be seen in the Gulf.

Maybe the microbes got it already.
