Whatever they say,
there really isn't any excuse for this. If you're a city's flagship (or lone) daily, and your Monday opinion page begins to resemble a retirement home bulletin board/recipe exchange, people start to get the impression that there isn't anything going on worth talking about in your town. Can we take back their Pullitzer? Or maybe cut it in half or something?
