BP on Monday renewed its request for a federal judge to temporarily halt the payment of millions of dollars of economic claims stemming from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster, charging it has found new evidence of improper payment of claims by an employee at a Mobile, Ala., claims office and of apparent conflicts of interest involving attorneys handling appeals in the payment process.Not saying it's not a good idea to keep after them. Just that they seem to have the upper hand and all the important people are their friends.

Doomed
If you're still waiting on the second half of the trial to learn whether BP will ever be made to pay for repairing the Louisiana coast, we can save you some time. They're pretty much finished paying for anything at this point.
