What is Gary Landrieu's secret plan?

Appearing before an audience of what The Gambit tweeted to be about 15...which means basically all reporters and, I guess, some random folk who may have wandered in.. the Council At-Large candidates went through the motions of... again, according to the twittering... a largely uneventful debate. You can read WWLTV's, or NOLA Defender's account and get basically the same summary. NOLA Def's Levi Bruce did happen to pick up on something I noticed in the tweets.

Among the many obligatory novelty candidates who populate any citywide ballot is the Mayor's cousin Gary. Gary's campaign is distinguished by its intense focus on eliminating the city's traffic cameras.. which, of course, isn't something he can realistically accomplish... but since he was also quoted last night as claiming that reducing taxes increases revenue, we can assume realism isn't what is being striven for here. Anyway, it might be fun to note that he also has a secret plan for economic development. What is it? Here's NOLA Def's Bruce.

An earlier question prodded candidates to state the one thing they thought they could change within their first year of office. Most of the candidates gave answers that fell short of full-on reform. Head referred to projects that were already going to happen, while Willard-Lewis talked about neighborhood Council meetings and State Rep. Austin Badon said his staff would handle all complaints. Perennial candidate William “Poppa” Gant mentioned returning N. Claiborne Ave. to its prior economic glory, while Landrieu said he would end the traffic camera ticket program, and had an idea for huge economic development that he did not ultimately disclose. As he was beginning his final remarks, Landrieu called out each of the other candidates for their answers.
