Probably could just leave that out, right?
The company building the Bayou Bridge pipeline asked a federal judge
to suspend her Friday order stopping construction of the cross-state
crude oil line, saying the stoppage would cost the company almost $1
million daily.
In court papers filed Monday in Baton Rouge federal
court, Bayou Bridge Pipeline LLC also told U.S. District Judge Shelly
Dick that the company is interpreting her order as only halting pipeline
construction inside the Atchafalaya Basin.
Update: Putting this limited interpretation of the order into practice
led to confrontations with protesters this afternoon.
