Recycled paper route

My memory is a bit fuzzy now but there's something familiar about this paperboy image from David Duke. I'm almost certain he's talked about his stint as a paperboy during previous campaigns.

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke, a Mandeville Republican attempting to run on Donald Trump's coattails, even tried to make some sort of connection. He cast himself as a local boy who had a paper route, before pivoting to his predictable rant about how immigration policy amounts to the purposeful ethnic cleansing of America.

Huh... I know James Varney wasn't even writing for the T-P back then.  And that doesn't sound at all like Iris Kelso. Duke must have been reading the society pages back then. "Purposeful Ethnic Cleansing Of America" is a pretty common theme there.
