Certainly seems to be the way to get rich lately
Edwin Edwards is
always looking for an angle, you know.
Former Gov. Edwin Edwards is
seeking to become a licensed real estate agent in Louisiana, the
87-year-old former four-term governor and federal inmate said Wednesday.
Edwards, who lost a congressional bid
in December to Republican U.S. Rep. Garret Graves, said he plans to
appear Thursday in front of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission as part
of the application process to obtain his real estate license.
"It's one of the things -- one of the options -- I want to do," he said of selling real estate.
