A hodge podge of activists and preservationists have sued to delay the Rampart Streetcar project. I see concern in there about buildings and flooding. I don't know how valid those concerns actually are, though. The real reasons to be wary of this streetcar are 1) it's not particularly good transit. and 2) it's therefore a waste of resources applied for the benefit of tourism and real estate interests.
But, hey, anything that gets a conversation going, I guess.
