Ever get the feeling it's just not gonna go your way?

Because, well..
Stunning news from New Orleans Saints camp as safety Jairus Byrd sustained a torn lateral meniscus in his knee during Thursday's practice and will be placed on season-ending injured reserve, coach Sean Payton announced after Friday's practice.

Byrd was one of the biggest free-agent acquisitions throughout the league in the offseason as he signed a six-year contract with the Saints for an average of $9 million per season. The Saints let Malcolm Jenkins leave via free agency to sign Byrd, a three-time Pro Bowler.
The Saints have played only one home game so far this year. And already people are starting to feel like the thing has come unraveled.
