Nola.com has so far been mum today on news about what is happening across town at the TP, perhaps auguring what kind of reporting is not to come. I've heard (but not confirmed) that newsroom employees have been blocked from accessing bestofneworleans.com, the online site for Gambit, which has been rigorously covering the TP situation.Update: Rumor not confirmed, of course.

I could have guessed that. I spend enough time all day watching people freak out because "THE INTERNETS ARE BLOCKED!" when in fact they are trying to view the internet via Microsoft Word or they don't know how to double click or whatever.
