The New Orleans Police Department’s Traffic Division will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, September 3, 2010, in the warehouse district. The check point will begin at approximately 9:00 P.M. and will conclude at about 5:00 A.M. Motorists will experience minimal delays and should have the proper documentation, i.e., proof of insurance, driver’s license, etc., available if requested.

Update: Good news is, Orleans Parish checkpoints will not be collecting blood samples. Other parishes, however....
