Since the Flood, this once no-nonsense middle-class enclave is fast on its way to becoming the center of the new NOLA Yuppie-ism. Not saying that everyone who lives in Mid-City is some sort of awful Yuppie. It's just that
every new development seems to combine all the smug hip of Bywater with all the aesthetic sensibility of Metairie.... at Garden District prices.
