No matter how many times the Republicans fail to pass an ACA repeal, they are going to have to keep trying, or look like they are trying, at least until the midterms. There's a good chance, though, that eventually they might actually get it done even if they do it by accident.
Maybe this attempt fizzles too. But if it does, then they'll try again sooner than later. It's possible that they'll keep tripping over their own feet for the rest of the term. But one thing I wouldn't count on as a backstop is the continued resilience of so-called "moderate Republicans." Eventually the big tax cut for rich people that the repeal will inevitably represent, will be too good to pass up.
