I get why they are doing it, but it's still sad.Carlie Kollath Wellsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5976758.post-54379714611987338872013-11-13T21:30:04.071-06:002013-11-13T21:30:04.071-06:00Another case of crepe murder.Another case of crepe murder.TimGNOnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5976758.post-26620788540955129062013-11-13T14:30:50.046-06:002013-11-13T14:30:50.046-06:00Worse to come. Because it only takes decades for the trees to grow that large, so why be careful and trim conservatively?Janenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5976758.post-11661450539936682972013-11-13T11:23:34.661-06:002013-11-13T11:23:34.661-06:00Well.. they do have to do the project. I live on Pershing and have been enjoying the sound of pilings being driven into the ground at 7 am for months. Now they're just moving closer. I'm disgusted about the trees. Sad day.HeatherCNolanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5976758.post-57910542294958885802013-11-13T09:06:38.797-06:002013-11-13T09:06:38.797-06:00I saw them cutting the trees down yesterday when I...I saw them cutting the trees down yesterday when I was driving by. It makes me sad. I know why they have to do it but as you have documented, they are lovely trees. Thank you for this memorial to the Napoleon Avenue neutral ground trees.
