Terrific analysis here of Mark Ingram's terrible horrible no good day by Black and Gold Review. Go read it. There's a video breakdown and everything. After that, though, I don't think we really need to talk about him anymore.
Sunday, Ingram carried 9 times for a total of 11 yards. Tomorrow is 9/11. This is a coincidence.
Midway through the first quarter, Mark Ingram was thrown for a loss on 4th and 1. At that same moment, the Storyville Jazz Band arrived in our section and began playing. This was also a coincidence but it felt like a little jazz funeral for Ingram's career.

You are being too harsh on Ingram. He looks like he bulked up a little and I think he's a little faster than last year. He made a few poor decisions and lost his balance a couple times. But I bet he winds up having the best year of his career.
So you're saying he looks "sudden."
Wait I'm confused. Is he faster or bigger?
Kinda hard to do both at the same time. And what are we basing this idea that he's going to have a big year on? It was definitely a story in July, but there's no evidence that he's gotten better. Or that he'll be a better fit this year. Or that Pierre Thomas couldn't do 33% better in the same carries.
Yeah more "sudden"
